Hello and welcome to
Prime Time Living
The official newsletter of The Essential Boomer
I hope that you’re having a great 2019 so far!
That’s Laura with me in the photo. She is by FAR my better half. We just celebrated 20 years of romance and adventure together. I AM SO looking forward to the next 20.
Laura is very inspirational, not just to me, but to all the people that know her. She is a survivor with laser-like focus on living life on her terms, despite her substantial challenges. Laura is amazing.
So far, 2019 has been awesome. It’s been very wet but, that’s okay because I LOVE storms. One of my favorite sounds is the rain pattering on the roof. LOVE IT!
I think you will like this edition of PRIME TIME LIVING. It has ton’s of articles and information focusing on many aspects of increasing your lifespan while avoiding the chronic conditions that affect many people as they get older.
It also has my very first podcast edition of HEALTH BITES.
Health Bites are short, informative podcasts. This one is less than 5 minutes.
These short podcasts will provide some basic understanding of the terms and concepts which are very important to the understanding of the science of health span. I hope you like them.
Nobody filled out the survey to anonymously share your feedback on what you liked and didn’t like about my newsletter!
I’m going to get a complex if nobody fills it out after this edition so… to prevent me from falling into a serious social media existential funk, please fill out this quick survey. It will help me to focus my efforts to provide you with what YOU WANT in this newsletter as well as all my other media outlets.

Health Span Deep Dive with Rhonda Patrick PhD.
In this edition of Prime Time Living we’re going to take deep-dive on the subject of heat acclimation with the use of the dry sauna. I did a recent podcast focusing on this topic.
In Dr. Patrick’s video, Rhonda interviews Dr. Jari Laukkanen, the Finnish doctor who lead the 20 year long research study that was responsible for providing so much solid data on the subject. I think you’ll like it!
